Cub Scout Day Camp - Science in Action

June 16-20, 2008

8:30 AM - 4:00 PM except on Friday which will be from 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM
LDS Church - Martin Street, Apopka (across from Apopka High School)
Camp flyers will be sent out by mail from Council by the end of March to all registered Cub Scouts.
Day Camp "Tour Guides" (den chaperones) are needed. Volunteers can give (1) day or all (5) days. If a parent works all week and has a scout who attends day camp, they will receive a free day camp t-shirt and a $25.00 refund in August.
Some of the classes include Archery, BB, cooking and more.

Wekiwa District Day Camp Information

Registration Cut-off: Two weeks prior to the first day of camp    Pre-Camp Check-in: 06/00/08        Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Location: LDS Church      540 Martin St. Apopka (Across from Apopka High School)

Day Camp Hours: Mon. –         Thurs.    8:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Before Care: Yes / 8:00 AM

After Care: No 

Wee Care: Yes / Day Camp Adult Volunteers Only!  Child(ren) must be potty-trained!

What to bring: Lunch in a Gallon-size Ziploc bag, water bottle, hat & sunscreen

Extra Cost:

.50 cents freezer pops twice daily or pre-purchase $5.00 card at pre-camp check-in

Dress Code: Camp T-shirt everyday, closed-toed shoes, and shorts   NO SANDALS!

Volunteers: Adults needed to be “Tour Guides” for dens
