Roundtable - Get plugged in at Roundtable! Held on the third Thursday of each month at the Council Service Center, Roundtable is your opportunity to meet other volunteers in the district, stay informed on what's happening and share and discuss ideas related to your program to help you succeed! We begin promptly at 7 p.m. so come early! You never know what's going to happen at Roundtable. Click here to see what we mean.

Cub Family Campout - Mark your pack calendars and plan to participate in the Cub Family Campout. This premier Cub Scout event is open to the entire family (except Fido, of course). Click here for more info.

Family Fest - Family Fest is held on the first Saturday in May from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. We have Boy Scout skills demonstrations, interactive booths, games, and some other suprises up our sleeves including a couple that are new each year. Mark your calendars now, because you won't want to miss it!

Camporees - Make plans for your troop to attend the District Camporee each spring and fall. The outdoor committee develops competitions based around a central theme. There will also be tug-of-war and gateway competitions, a Scoutmaster cook-off and a campfire with skits. Webelos dens are welcome to attend the event on Saturday. Click here for more information.

Pinewood Derby - The District Pinewood Derby is held each Spring. Food and drinks are available through the OA Chapter Grill. You can click here to see pictures and a few short video clips from past years derby. Race times and other statistics will be posted soon. Thank you to Mullinax Ford for providing the trophies, ribbons, and a great location for our event year after year.

Day Camp- The 2008 Cub Scout Day Camp will be held June 16th through June 20th at the LDS Church in Apopka (Across from the Apopka High School). The theme for this years camp is 'Science in Action'. The registration fee is $90 for the week with a $25 refund for full time staff volunteers. The Wekiwa District Day Camp Director is Donna Hensel and the Program Director is Teri Smith. District Banquet - The District Banquet is our annual recognition event. The highlight of the banquet will be the presentation of the District Award of Merit. There will be theme based activities for the entire family to enjoy so bring them all!!!!
