DISTRICT COMMITTEE MEETINGS
Did you know that your unit's Chartering Organization Representative is a member of the District Committee and should attend each meeting? Would you like to get a better idea of what's going on at the District level? Do you have a question you would like to get answered by the people making the decisions? Do you have an issue that needs to be addressed? Do you want to be one of the people in the know? Then plan to attend the District Committee Meetings. The meetings are open to anyone who wants to attend, and visitors are always welcome. In fact, your attendance, and participation, is encouraged. Meetings are always held on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at the Council Office, conference room and starts promptly at 7:00 PM. They are always over by 8:30 PM. We look forward to having you attend. Questions concerning the agenda for an upcoming meeting, or suggestions for agenda items you would like to see addressed, should be directed to the District Chairman.

The Wekiwa District Committee is looking for a few good Scouters to fill our program committees! If you have strong desire to make our boy's scouting experience the best it can be, we need your help to run the District Committee! Regardless of your interest; whether it is in Finance, Training, Advancement, Camping, Activities or Membership in any of our programs: Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts or Venturing; we would like to hear from you! Serving in a position on the District Committee helps the District run smoothly and successfully. We urge you to get involved now! We have many positions available and will accept nominations at any time.
